Early life
Kai Carlo Cenat III was born on December 16, 2001, to parents from Trinidad and Tobago and Haiti. He graduated from high school in 2019 and enrolled at SUNY Morrisville to study business administration, leaving in 2020.
Career background
He uploaded his first YouTube video on January 13, 2018, focused on pranks and challenges, and joined the creator collective AMP. He began streaming on Twitch in February 2021.
Rise to fame
His Mafiathon subathons became landmark events. The first, in early 2023, made him the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time at that point, and he became the first Twitch streamer to pass 500,000 subscribers during Mafiathon 2 (November 2024) and 1,000,000 during Mafiathon 3 (September 2025).
Public presence
In May 2025 he hosted Streamer University, a three-day event for 120 selected creators. He appeared in the film Good Burger 2 (2023) and in 2024 became the first streamer signed by Nike.
